SkillBridge Content Creator Intern

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should be self-motivated, independent, and highly organized. The successful candidate will have some knowledge of social media, key performance indicators, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
This opportunity is available through the Department of War SkillBridge program for eligible active-duty service members. This is an unpaid training opportunity. Participants continue to receive military pay and benefits through the Department of War.
Job Description: The Content Creator Intern will support the company’s communications and marketing efforts by sourcing, drafting, and developing content across platforms. Working closely with a mentor, the intern will recommend content and develop strategies that support business objectives. The intern will also contribute to strategies that grow the company’s own networking platform.
Responsibilities
- Learn to plan, draft, edit, review, and post approved content across external platforms on behalf of the company
- Seek out new, innovative strategies to engage audiences and promote business objectives
- Learn to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance on various tasks and projects
- Assist with automation initiatives to improve existing processes
- Assist in the development of new systems and processes necessary for company scale
- Prepare and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership
- Collect and analyze key data points throughout the customer, product, and sales cycle
Requirements
- Ability to translate advanced technical topics into coherent, easy-to-understand messages
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Reddit, and other social platforms
- Must be detail and process oriented
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate without direct supervision
- Experience with Zoom, Slack, Canva, Figma, and GSuite preferred
